Hi! My name is Tee and I’m so glad you decided to stop by! I created this blog because I am passionate about diversifying the outdoors and showing you the beautiful places in your own backyard. It all started with me sharing photos of my adventures on Instagram and getting tons of comments like, “I’ve lived here for 10 years and didn’t know this existed!” So now, I write about those places to so you can visit them too.
I grew up in a military family and moved across the U.S. from elementary to high school. Crazy enough, I didn’t catch the travel bug until my sophomore year in college, where I took my first international trip to Cancun, Mexico.
I was amazed by the culture, the clear blue waters, and the food (I had tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 5 days straight!). So much so, that I wanted to travel every chance I got from that point on. Once I graduated college, I went on a 3 week trip to Southeast Asia with my boyfriend, Justin, and had the time of my life! I am now based out of Atlanta and work full-time in marketing. If I’m not doing that, I’m out hiking mountains, chasing waterfalls, or doing some activity involving the outdoors.
For too long, I put my dreams on the back burner because I never thought they were achievable. Now, I work towards them everyday because I have learned and seen that small steps will create the biggest change. The same is true for you as well! My dream is to one day be a full-time travel blogger and I want to take you all on this journey with me.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is stop waiting for opportunities to come to you and to start creating your own. YOU are in control of your happiness and are capable of getting exactly what you want out of life. So let’s go after it!
