Some people don’t believe in love at first sight, but for me, it doesn’t get more real than this. I mean I was crushing HARD on this place. You know that look you’d give your crush when you guys locked eyes from a distance? Yeah, that was me. I was staring at my computer screen for HOURS scrolling through photos dreaming of staying there. Until finally, I told myself, I’m a big girl with big girl money and damn it I deserve to treat myself! So I booked it. The best part is, every single room in the hotel is ocean view! Okay, now that I’ve given you a teaser lets dive into why this place is the dreamiest hotel in Bali.
The hotel is called Dreamsea Bali and it’s located in Uluwatu, Bali. It sits right over a cliff and from your balcony, you can look out and see people kayaking, surfing, and paddleboarding in the distance. If that doesn’t make it the dreamiest hotel in Bali I don’t know what does. A big part of me wanted to stay in the room and enjoy the sound of the waves and lay around. While another part was itching to get in the water and explore. Tough decision, I know. Well, I couldn’t sit around for long because a girl has got to eat lol. Thankfully, there is a cafe connected to the hotel (another perk, I might add). See what else this hotel has to offer below.
Amazing Decor
If I can use one word to describe this place it would be VIBE. From the bohemian decor in the bedrooms to the ocean view rooms, a girl literally couldn’t ask for more. Except for food, I always ask for more food haha.
A Beautiful Private Beach
Take a trip down a quick flight of stairs and you’ll land on this breath-taking beach. Every time we went down it was completely empty and we had the water all to ourselves. Watching the sunset here was beyond anything I could have imagined. The water is warm, inviting, and crystal clear. This would be a perfect place for the GoPro folks to get a few underwater shots. Perfect Price Range
The most important factor— how much does this place cost? After all I’ve told you you’re probably thinking its at least 3 dollar signs, but it’s not! Surprisingly, it’s affordable! If you catch it early enough you should be able to book it anywhere in the $100-150 per night range. The only reason why I was hesitant to book before is that the average cost of a hotel in Bali is $25-$60 and I was trying to stay in budget. But hey, if you can afford it, go for it!
After all of that, I hoped I convinced you to stay here one day or at least look into it. But I wouldn’t be truthful if I didn’t mention the downsides. For one, once you arrive at the hotel there are a ton of stairs you have to go down. This is no biggie if you packed light, but unfortunately for me, I didn’t. Also, there is a very long path off the main road to get to the hotel. No cars can come down this path, only motorbikes. It about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from the main road and there are no street lights so I suggest you rent a motorbike for your stay here. Other than that I have no complaints and totally recommend it!
